Deep-Tech EV & Intelligent Electric Mobility
BRC STAR is a deep-tech electric vehicle company in Anupgarh, Rajasthan — DPIIT-recognised and incubated with iStart Rajasthan. Our Self Volt™ programme explores an intelligent dual-battery architecture and onboard energy recovery, filed as Indian Patent Application No. 202511050655.
Status The Self Volt™ programme is early stage. All systems described on this platform are Concept / Under Development / Subject to Validation. The referenced patent is a filed application, not a granted patent. No performance or production claims are published.
The Problem & The Direction
Most of the industry competes on battery chemistry. BRC STAR's programme attacks the architecture that surrounds the battery — how energy is stored, recovered and managed across the whole vehicle.
Today's conventional EV
A single battery pack means a single point of energy supply. If it is depleted, the vehicle is stranded — no matter how the energy is managed afterwards.
Conventional EVs depend on grid charging for virtually every kilowatt they consume. In areas with weak charging infrastructure, that dependency becomes a business risk.
Energy is lost at every conversion step. Architectures that do not manage recovery and regeneration system-wide throw usable energy away.
Self Volt™ direction
Two managed battery packs (Pack A / Pack B) let the control system route energy intelligently instead of depending on a single pack.
The Tri-Alternator concept is designed to recover energy onboard and route it back into the battery system — a research concept awaiting validation.
Coordination across BMS, VCU, inverter and power electronics treats the vehicle as one energy system rather than a collection of parts.
All of the above is engineering direction, not validated performance. Direction: Concept / Under Development.

Patent & IP
BRC STAR has filed Indian Patent Application No. 202511050655 covering the Tri-Alternator System — the onboard energy-recovery concept at the heart of the Self Volt™ architecture.
A filed application is not a granted patent. Examination by the Indian Patent Office is in progress and never guaranteed to succeed. We publish only the public-level summary — never confidential technical detail.

Market Opportunity
The Indian mobility transition is a widely documented, long-duration shift. BRC STAR's opportunity is framed by four context points — none of which are company revenue or market-share claims.
Rising demand for affordable personal and commercial mobility across Indian cities and districts — a structural, widely reported trend.
Market context
Central and state policies (FAME, state EV policies, iStart Rajasthan) actively push EV adoption and manufacturing in India.
Policy context
Incentives for domestic EV and component manufacturing make indigenously engineered architectures commercially relevant.
Policy context
Charging infrastructure remains thin in many regions — the exact gap architectures designed for recovery and flexibility aim to address.
