BRC STAR began with a simple engineering question asked in Anupgarh, Rajasthan: how should an electric vehicle manage its energy when it is more than a single battery on wheels? The research that followed became the Self Volt™ programme — an intelligent dual-battery architecture with onboard energy recovery.

That work led to the Tri-Alternator System, covered by Indian Patent Application No. 202511050655. The company is now focused on moving the programme from research toward validation, testing and, eventually, production — in that order.
